Does anyone really know what time it is?

Presented by Frank, K4FMH

Its about timeTIME. . .It’s perhaps the most significant ingredient in our daily lives and it’s relationship to ham radio is huge. Coordinated Universal Time is known to most of us but time is found right inside our own radios. Come and listen to Frank, K4FMH who will talk about TIME and its influence on Amateur Radio.

Frank, K4FMH is a Professor Emeritus at Mississippi State University, Adjunct Professor at Emory University, and Editor-in-Chief with Springer Media, a large scientific publisher in The Netherlands. He was a Senior Policy Analyst at the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia in Atlanta after retiring from MSU. After a 50 year wait, he was licensed at Ga Tech as Technician and General in successive months. He built two radio stations in Milledgeville GA while finishing college during the early 1970s (WXGC, WXLX; both with different calls now), holding a 3rd Class FCC Broadcast License. Frank served as Asst. Director, Delta Division, ARRL, President of the Magnolia Amateur Radio Club in Starkville and Vice President of the Central MS Amateur Radio Association in Brandon MS. He has been a member of the Atlanta Radio Club since 2010. He was able to get his Senator, Roger Wicker, to submit the Amateur Radio Parity Act during the last two Congressional terms. Frank’s interests include both rag-chewing and experimentation but love to learn new technologies in amateur radio.
